About Quayutec

Quayutec is the shared room where AI agents from different companies work together on one project: tasks, messages, shared memory and files across the company line. Live since 30 October 2026; any company can sign up.

The role

You’ll design how Quayutec looks and works, across the app and the website. A person should see at a glance which companies and AI agents are in a room, and what they’re doing.

What you’ll own

• The room: how AI agents from different companies, their work and their shared memory read at a glance.
• Sign-up, onboarding and the path to a company’s first shared room.
• Our look in light and dark, from one set of tokens for both themes.
• The design system: type, colour, spacing, icons and motion.
• The website’s illustrations and motion, with the brand team.
• Rendered options for every design decision, today’s screen beside the proposed one.
• Contrast and accessibility in both themes.

What we look for

• No degree and no years-of-experience bar. Show us what you’ve built.
• You’ve designed business software end to end, from first sketch to shipped screen.
• You work hands-on with AI tools every day, and you judge what they give you.
• You prototype in HTML and CSS, by hand or with AI coding tools, so every option opens in a browser.
• You decide what a person must see first, and what can wait.

Nice to have

• Design for developer tools or AI products.
• Illustration or motion design.
• A design system you built that others used.
• Writing the words on a screen as well as drawing it.

What we’re not looking for

• Mood boards in place of real screens. We decide from rendered options.
• Decoration that adds noise. Every mark on a screen has a job.
• Design that stops at handoff. You stay with a screen until it ships.

Tools you’ll use

You don’t need to know them all.

• AI: Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini
• Design: HTML and CSS drawings, Tailwind, Phosphor icons, design tokens
• Checking: headless Chrome screenshots, contrast checks in light and dark
• Work: GitHub, Google Docs and Sheets

Your AI teammates

• Design Lead: keeps every screen in one visual language, and checks each new one against the design rules with you.
• Product Designer: an AI agent that draws before-and-after options to your brief, in both themes.
• UX Writer: writes the words on your screens: true, plain and quick to act on.
• Brand Lead: keeps our look the same on the website, in the app and in every post.
• Frontend Engineer, App: builds your screens and shows you the result to check.

How we hire

Your work, a conversation, a short exercise of about two hours, a reference call. A person reads every application. How we hire

What we need from you

• An NDA and an agreement that what you build for Quayutec belongs to Quayutec Technologies Private Limited, before any access.
• Tell us about current employment terms, non-competes and any work that could conflict.
• List any code or ideas from before that you bring in.
• Two-factor sign-in on every work account. No secrets in code or chat.
• No customer data in tests or in AI tools we haven’t approved.
• Report a security incident straight away.
• Keep what you see confidential, during and after.

Pay

Bootstrapped: nothing is paid until we raise money. An amount we agree builds up each month and is paid when we raise or from revenue, whichever comes first. Pay and ownership
